Llanarth Court offers a full care pathway allowing patients to move through to the next stage of their treatment in a timely manner. We admit patients with highly challenging presentations and are able to move them through their care pathway quickly because of the quality of interventions offered. We have a GP service three days a week that is supported by a physical health team, who provide clinics for patients such as clozapine, retinopathy, triage for physical health issues and emergencies.
We are able to support people with:
● Complex mental health needs
● Behaviours that challenge
● Severe and enduring mental health needs
● A learning disability
● Personality disorders
● Psychosis
● Self-harm
● Sexual offending behaviour
We can also support people with the following challenges alongside their primary diagnosis:
● Autism
● Physical health needs
We are able to support people who are detained under the Mental Health Act.
Our clinical teams have considerable experience in the assessment and care of offenders with mental health conditions, and other people requiring a secure placement. We seek to promote the recovery of our patients from the point of admission, through to discharge and follow-up. Our experienced MDT provides integrated assessment, treatment and rehabilitation for patients.

● Responsible clinicians who are all fellows of the royal college of psychiatrists
As a Mental Health Nurse you will be expected to have excellent interpersonal skills when liaising with members of the multidisciplinary team, external agencies and organisations, patients and relatives. Our RMNs also have a good working knowledge of the relevant government health acts and codes of conduct in England, Wales and Scotland. Experience in a related environment is often essential.
