Job Description
You'll work closely with a multidisciplinary team to help them overcome challenges, break the cycle of homelessness, and prepare for independent living.
What You’ll Do:
- Act as a key worker for individual young people.
- Support young people who have experienced trauma and challenging behaviours.
- Develop and maintain individual placement plans in line with statutory care plans.
- Collaborate with external agencies for housing, education, and social support.
- Maintain records in compliance with health and safety standards.
- Participate in a 7-day, 24-hour roster.
What You’ll Need:
- Degree in Social Care or related field.
- Experience in residential care or working with children with complex needs.
- Knowledge of HIQA standards, Child Protection, and Therapeutic Crisis Intervention.
- Strong communication skills and teamwork mindset.
- Full, clean driver’s license.
