I started my career in healthcare in 2010 working as a band 2 healthcare assistant. I’d initially worked in retail and catering but felt something was missing. I’ve worked in various areas including: Neuropsychiatry, forensics, acute wards, rehab wards and Psychiatric intensive care. I then did an access course at college, then my degree at Cardiff University. I started my MHN career in forensics as a Staff Nurse and am now working in an inpatient acute setting as a Deputy Ward Manager.
