I'm a student nurse, I've just finalised my first year in a three year course in the middle of a full blown pandemic. I have a previous degree and masters in an unrelated topic. I am studying far from home, from my partner and the course and its staff have not been supportive throughout this year. I fell very disappointed with the dinámica of the course but I love the subject and being with patients. I have decided to take a deferral for a year because I feel very overwhelmed and need to be with my loved ones.
